Green card holder joining the army and married to a foreigner .What effects on her status?
I am a green card holder ,I will join the army soon .I would like to know what will be the effect on the status of my wife(we ll get married in 2 weeks) who is in the US under student visa.
I know that I will gain more quickly citizenship (that s not the only reason of my enlistement) but I want to know if her as a wife of a US soldier can be allowed to stay with me after her studies ?

Once you filed for Adjustment of Status she is legal to stay in the US until she gets her greencard. Until she gets an employment authorization card she won't be able to work though.
