my son is almost 16 months and does not walk yet help?
he walks around when he is holding something like table, chair, walker how can i help him to want to let go of these things and walk without any support

Sounds like he's doing all the things they do before they start walking. He's on his way. Does he try to just stand without holding onto anything? My son did it by accident at 1st, he'd be holding on with 1 hand & have a toy in the other, then he'd let go to switch hands the toy was in, or grab another nearby toy, then hold on again. Most the time he never knew he'd done it. One thing I used to do was sit on the floor with my son in front of me & I'd hold his hands while he stood, then let go for a second. You can make a game out it, let them fall forwards onto you and you catch them. If you get him standing solo, the next step is footsteps : )
