Maker of caffeine supplement warned by FDA (local6)
The Food and Drug Administration has threatened regulatory action against
Breathable Foods, the manufacturer of Aeroshot, a product marketed as a "dry
energy shot dietary supplement."
In a letter to the company, the FDA indicated Breathable Foods may be engaged
in "false and misleading" labeling.
Aeroshot, which contains 100 milligrams of caffeine (the equivalent of an
eight-ounce cup of coffee) and B vitamins, was designed to be ingested, not
inhaled into the lungs. Each small "puffer" contains a powder-like substance
that, when released, is supposed to be absorbed into the tongue and throat.
The FDA told the company its own product usage description is contradictory.
"For instance, the product label prominently features the claim 'BREATHABLE
ENERGY Anytime, Anyplace,' as well as the instruction, 'Puff in'," said
Michael W. Roosevelt, the acting director of the Food and Drug
Administration's Office of Compliance in a letter to Thomas Hadfield, CEO of
Breathable Foods. "In addition, your website includes headlines that describe
your product as 'inhalable caffeine' and tout the invention of a 'caffeine
inhaler.' Despite these suggestions that your product is intended for
inhalation, you indicate in other statements that the product is intended for
ingestion. By definition, ...
Are menstrual cups FDA approved?
I know that the Diva Cup, the Keeper Cup and the US Moon Cup are, but I just (and I mean JUST) purchased a LadyCup off of their Ebay Site, and straight after purchasing, I realised i should have learned whether they were FDA approved (or something else approved becuase they are from Czech Republic)... anyway, I am nervous I just spent heaps o' money on something that isnt approved.... CAN YOU HELP ME??? PLEASE TELL ME!???

No, I think it's not.
I fail to see why that would worry you. It's not like that makes it dangerous or of low quality; it just means that the manufacturer has not jumped through all the expensive juridical hoops involved (yet). Maybe they're not all that interested in the US market anyway.
The FDA has nothing to say in the rest of the world; it's just an American insitution.

"The material used is Liquid Silicone Rubber from a German company. LadyCup® has been awarded the “Certificate of Compliance with USB Biological Tests, Classification VI“ (Bioservice – Scientific Laboratories)."
So it's definitely 'something else approved'.
I'm surprised that you say you spent heaps o' money on it; I've seen them sold on E-bay for prices as low as 20 or 30$. That's actually quite cheap considering you will have your investment back in a few months.
Now that I've used mine for a while, I can tell you that it would have been worth it at double the price I paid for it. I like it that much. It's so clean, so convenient and so very, very comfortable.
In any case, the LadyCup is a fine cup; if yours works for you as well as mine works for me, you're going to love it.
