I have 2 abdominal hernias which cannot be operated on until I have an op for something else.?

What are the do's and dont's as regards hernias and will a stomach support be of any help as the hernias are very noticable because I am of a slim build.I could not get a hernia support from the chemist and was told the hospital was the safest place to get one.I am 53.

To wait for one repair is fair enough but to wait for two and two that are noticeable is not good enough.You must a a real weakness to have two and it needs to be dealt with.
