When compared with the older generation of pedometers the first thing I noticed about the Omron HJ-112 Premium Pedometer is it looks so much nicer. Gone are the chunky sharp corners and in are smooth curves and pebble roundness that make it slips into my pocket so easily. Just slip it in your pocket. No need to have it clipped your belt though it does come with a belt holder so you can if you want.

Say goodbye to the Gym
I've never enjoyed going to the gym but I do enjoy walking so this handy little gadget fits in with my lifestyle perfectly. I try to walk 10,000 steps per day for fitness and health and my Omron pedometer acts as an incentive and monitor of my progress throughout the day.
At the end of each day the HJ-112 resets itself to zero ready for the next day. It also keeps all the data from the previous 7 days so I can compare how well I'm doing.
Aerobic steps
This clever little gadget is also able to distinguish between ordinary steps and aerobic steps. And of course when using walking as a way to fitness, aerobic exercise is the best for your heart and circulation. Not only will the HJ-112 count the number of aerobic steps buy it will also display how many minutes you spent in the aerobic phase. That's a great incentive.
