Should I be walking on a sprained?
Well 2 weeks ago i sprained my ankle, and my mom let me use her crutches until we went to the docter, we went to the docter and he discovered i had a 2nd degree ankle sprain, and so he gave me a padded brace, and told me to try an stay off it, now im at a friends house in LA and i have my own room along with my family has theirs too (manision) and so my mom is makin me do all these chores, like putting the dishes away, vacumming all of our rooms, and bringing the garbage out, and she knows the doc said stay off my feet AS MUCH as possible especially in the house! And its VERY painful i tried tellin her that but she didnt listen!
Definitely not you ankle will take longer to heal and you can make it worse by straining it. You need to show her the results of this question and tell her to take this advice, STAY OFF OF YOUR FEET. I cant stress how important that is, if its causing you pain your body is telling you something is wrong, you foot should be completely healed soon, my mother fell down the stairs and sprained her ankle and had to go the emergency room, she was sore for 6 months because she wouldn't stay off her foot. If you arn't on pain meds take some pain revilers they help a little but, just enough to take the edge off. If the pain meds arnt helping at all call your doctor and scheduled an appointment with them to get some proper ones. Stay in bed use you foot very little and pray that you feel better. Take care and hope your foot heals fast.
