Ultrasound gel in eyes! PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!?
today, while doing physical therapy, a small amount of ultrasound gel got into my eye. I was not near a sink, and it has been a few hours since it happened. I was not able to wash my eye out. It never really stung, but my eye is dry right now.
The gel is Parker Labs Aquasonic 100 Blue Ultrasound Gel, 8.5 oz.
Would it make any difference to wash my eye out now, or has t been too long that it would not even help? Do you think I'll be OK? Am I just overthinking it?
I would wash it out for good measure. I would think that this will come out. Your tear ducts should clear it up eventually and I doubt it will burn hole through your eye. But it wouldn't hurt to clean your eye out anyway.
