Single Mom in Texas, Needs a Reliable Car!!!?
I am a single mom who works full time and goes to school full time that is in desperate need of a car. Does anyone know of any programs or of anyway that can help me to obtain an safe reliable automobile that won't break the bank on gas money or repairs. My 98 Jeep Laredo just bit the dust. I am honestly out of options as I don't have the credit to go to a dealership not the money to pay outrageous payments plus full coverage insurance. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Try looking in the Pennysaver and newspaper. Look for a reliable car like a Honda, Acura, or Toyota. Make sure that it isn't too old. Also make sure to check out the car before you buy, if you don't know that much about cars then try and get a coworker/friend/family member who does to look at it with you and point out pro's and con's. You can also check EbayAuto and Craigslist. Lastly, ask friends/family/coworkers if they have a car they would be willing to sell to you for a good price or maybe you could pay over time.
