how do i easily remove a brief arm cast myself?

i only were built with a short arm cast placed on for comfort...lol... on comes to an end., instead of a detachable splint /brace untill i've surgery in 3 days,on my small ulna- i would like them back, dont seem like waiting hrs in er or drs. to have it removed, anyway i'm able to get it done myself, and it also is protected to get rid of,is just for comfort! although not cozy whatsoever !!! lol...
