Is my cat overweight, or just a little fat?
So I have a 6 or 7 year old Siamese Snow Shoe female. She is the sweetest thing, and she weighs about 11 pounds. Is she overweight? She absolutely LOVES food. She'll start crying when she can see the bottom of her food bowl. It's rediculous. She isn't very active either. She does have a big pouch of fat on her that sways side to side when she walks lol. How can I help her loose some weight?
She is a petite cat and she get's bored with toys easily.....but she LOVES string. But once after a few minutes she gets either bored or worn out and she dosn't want to play anymore..
Get a laser pointer...this works to get them moving they will chase it. Or a cat wand with string to chase on it...get her moving that is the best exercise for a non active cat. Read the label on the back of the food to to make sure your not feeding her too much. But 11lbs doesn't sound overweight...but depends on how big she is too...what does you vet say she should weigh?
