Trainspotting: blunder about meth?

According to many scientific tests, meth is much more powerful and addictive than heroine. But in the movie Trainspotting, ( a group of heroine addicts), there's a scene where Renton gives meth to other guy so he can look crazy during a job interview (so he wont get the job and keep getting the unemployment benefits).
And then back to heroine, like if meth was just a joke to spend an evening.

And that is just the opposite, people who tries meth just one become addicts, meth is much more addictive than any other drug.

So what do you think about it, do you thinkit shows Trainspotting isn´t really a movie that depicts the drug world accurately?
